Mule-Hide #401 Premium Fibrated Aluminum Roof Coating provides unsurpassed protection for asphalt-based roofs, extending their service lives by creating a powerful shield against damaging heat, ultraviolet radiation, mold, fungus and rust. With a premium amount of aluminum pigment per gallon, the heavy-bodied roof coating delivers maximum reflectivity.

  • Designed for application to new or existing APP or SBS modified bitumen cap sheets (smooth and granulated), asphalt built-up roofs, and flashings.
  • Can be used to coat a variety of other substrates, including masonry surfaces, and structural steel.
  • Should only be applied to areas with positive drainage.
  • Product must be mixed very well with a power drill until coating appears silver. Hand mixing is not satisfactory. Average mix time per bucket should be approximately 2 minutes.
