Copper Retrofit Drain with Sealant Tape

Copper Retrofit Roof Drain with Sealant Tape allows for quick replacement of existing roof drains. Drain body is constructed from heavy duty copper for durability. Sealant Tape protects against water backup by expanding up to 4 times its original thickness. Available with a variety of flange options (plaincopper, TPO clad, PVC clad and asphalt coated) to accommodate most roofing systems.

  • Available in 2" 3", 4" and 6" sizes
  • 9" long outlet
  • Constructed of heavy copper flange and outlet for quick, easy installation
  • Copper drains should be used instead of aluminum if the water running into the drain passes over a copper surface
  • Warning: In the presence of water, copper will corrode aluminum
  • 2" wide anti-backup high density expanding tape impregnated with asphalt prevents water back-up issues—designed to expand approximately four times its compressed thickness
  • Clamping ring not necessary when welding a coated flange—three separate bolts in the flange to attach the strainer
  • Maximize drainage: Heavy duty ABS ring—1-1/4" high with 12 scallops and seep holes on bottom of ring
