Self-Adhering TPO

Is used in fully adhered roofing systems in new construction, reroofing and recover (retrofit) applications. It may also be used as flexible membrane flashings for walls, curbs, etc, when installing TPO-c membrane roofing systems. The system must be installed over acceptable roof insulation or other suitable substrate. See the Mule-Hide TPO Specifications Manual for complete specifications and details.

  • Polyester-reinforced
  • Available in 10' widths only
  • 60 mil thickness available in White, Gray or Tan
  • Fully adhered systems only
  • 80 mil thickness available in white only
  • Up to a 20 year system warranty available
  • Pre-printed with lap lines
  • Cannot be installed when sheet & ambient temperature is under 25°F (-4°C), confirm sheet temp with temperature gun.
  • Split release liner
  • Segmented weighted roller required to ensure proper adhesion.
  • Cannot be used over wood fiber board, EPS or XPS
  • End laps are butted and stripped in
  • Standard TPO membrane is used as flashing

FAQs

To reduce blocking, packs should only be stacked 4-packs up to five high. We have found that when stacked higher, the bottom rolls could crush a bit which could create blocking and a wavy sheet when installed. It is possible that the stacking issue can be heightened over the summer months due to the heat.
